Agreed. A reboot was absolutely necessary. I just wish the reboot had been done by Marvel instead of Sony.
...On the other hand, Marvel is owned by Disnep, now, and Disnep is most of the reason that Copyright law in the US is so horribly broken - so maybe we're better off giving money to Sony.
Still, this is very easily the best Spider-Man movie yet. Which really only serves to prove how horrible the Tobey Maguire versions really were.
Because I'm a moron. Apparently.
I had this song and the new Extol song both open in separate tabs, and I apparently commented on the wrong song because I was too distracted to realize what I was doing. My bad. Thanks for pointing it out.
Yes, but "it's" is a contraction, meaning "it is"; the correct possessive form of "it" is "its". So the line in the video, expanding the contraction in its current form, comes out to "This is our prayer for the new world, and it is midnight sons."
Good video, though. Other than touching on that little pet peeve of mine, I really enjoyed it. I just can't stand that particular spelling mistake.
Maybe it's the distortion on the guitars, then? As for Impending Doom, I will always argue that their first album was their heaviest - not many vocalists are capable of doing inhale squeals, and I miss them.
Still, to each his own. This band plays in a constant 4/4 time signature and their vocalist (in my opinion) can't compare to what's considered average in death, doom, or black metal (this is a complaint I have about almost all US music). It sounds gritty, but not heavy, to me.
This (and odd consistency issues in Abbadon's backstory which allowed me to come up with a theory that makes him seem like the only good god) is why our guild's backstory has us following Abaddon.
My PC games are perfectly fine accepting input from a controller. Personally, I have a Razer BlackWidow keyboard and a Roccat Kone[+] mouse - never had any issues.
Or are you one of those console lackeys that thinks "controller" means "gamepad"?
There are disadvantages to PC gaming (namely: being marginally technically competent), but gamepad support isn't one of 'em. Gamepads are fully supported in the two games that work better on a gamepad.
I think it's worth noting that all mantras can be cast while performing other actions. I'm running a mantra build mainly because I can use my mantras while reviving players, stunned/knocked down, or even casting spells.
Being able to use Mantra of Recovery while I'm reviving another player has saved the team multiple times, and quick reaction times with Mantra of Distraction/Concentration means that it doesn't matter whether or not I'm in the middle of a long cast when big things happen.
I would like to argue that you should base that off the whole album, not just a few clips.
I would also argue that their new vocal style is closer to death metal than their old style - not that that's saying their new music is death metal, just that I consider deep, bellowing growls (a. la. Extol, AWAS, A Thousand Times Repent, 7 Horns 7 Eyes) to be a requirement for death metal; and they've never had that before.
I still like their first album best, but I'll be checking this one out.
Well, that wasn't quite what I was hoping for. At least linux got mentioned, but I was hoping to see Linus Torvalds step in and deliver one of his famous rants (in rap form).
Ah, well, it was still very good.
I don't mind if they change the level cap later on, but I hope and pray that they don't change it in expansions. If they're wanting to keep the loyalty of GW1 players, expansions have to be standalone and can't give major advantages to people who have them (such as a higher max level).
If they release an expansion that increases the level cap, then people without the expansion should have their level cap raised, and higher level content should be added to areas outside of the expansion.
I'm ... not sure if you're trolling or just missed it ... but this isn't an iguana. It's a chameleon. Whole different animal. Many (if not most) of them are extremely timid and take a lot of work to warm up to any form of interaction whatsoever.
Iguanas, generally, are pretty easy going.
"Evil cost the world
A murder paid it all"
Pretty sure that the song's perspective is that, because we are all evil and a murder paid for our sin, we have all caused that murder - i.e. we are all murderers.
I'm totally in for three as soon as they release for linux! (No, I am not going to play this on a phone screen)
