You definitely need to get all their early albums. The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness and Rubberfactory are all amazing. especially since the first two were recorded in Pat's basement..haha. Just a local band writing awesome music.

It is a Fanned Fretboard. The wood of the fretboard is straight like any other guitar, but the frets are slanted to give the guitar more natural note intonation.

Is it just me or do their movements and the lead singers haircut seem beatlesesque. Event the little bow at the end..haha Wow this band is good! I think they have passed the audition.

By the way, this is the only song on the whole album produced by Danger Mouse. He also helped produce one or two songs on their last album, Attack and Release. If you listen to the blakroc album you can see where the new direction came from for this album. Thats why it is more bass ...

Honestly, i thought the same thing. Then my girlfriend left their albums at my place one day, and wow!. I have been a huge fan ever since. You should listen to both of their albums. All the way through, really, really good.

Actually, there is bass on the recording. Dan played backing bass tracks on all their albums, but live (until Brothers came out) there was no backing bass live, just guitar and drums on stage.

For the recording, Dan played all the bass, keyboard/piano parts in the studio, and then they got a bass and keyboard player to play those parts on stage for live shows.

Actually, they collaborated with Danger Mouse, who also collaborated with the Gorillaz. You can definitely tell he left an impact on both bands.

@MsMandika You should check out Sevendust. They kick ass and the lead singer looks like Josh Cribbs..haha. Also, Living Colour's song Cult of Personality still kicks ass to this day. Check them out...Metal fits these guys. It just doesnt really fit Jada, but props to her for doing what she likes.
