@Joshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh1 That was Applesoft Basic... predating ProDOS, and it was built into the ROMs of the Apple II systems. It was actually licensed by Microsoft to Apple, hence the name. And yes, it was pretty much that or 6502 assembly language. That's how you programmed back then. :)

@BlueFoxTV Why is 3ms way too low? Using that measurement and calculating pure round trip latency based on distance, the test server could be up to 187 miles away. That seems totally reasonable to me.

@mooselexus In my experience (just doing an upgrade from NIS 2011 to 2012 right now), it took probably less than a minute to install and upgrade and was active and working immediately upon reboot.

You Know that McAfee is No better protection than No antivirus at all. So many computers I've fixed had McAfee and were infected by something. McAfee was up to date and manually scanning the actual virus didn't even trigger anything. Not to mention the software is bloated and slows down computers...

@madmax2069 The IIGS came out after the original Macintosh, not before it. It was a last ditch effort by Steve Wozniak and the Apple II team to create competition for the Macintosh (yes, competition inside of Apple) for Steve Jobs killed the Apple II line completely.
