Seriously?

Screen 'burn in' has been eliminated as a problem up to 3-4 years ago! All decent manufactures have a 'screen refresh' function or other features built in to prevent these issues. I've never had issues with my viera plasma.

lol the bearings get no wear near 1000 deg. Your spot on usually between 200-300 deg. If the temps got that high then the casting would crack over time and then eventually cause the impeller to shatter causing serious damage to the motor.
