Salam Alaikum / Hello and Welcome,
This is my personal channel dedicated to traditional Muslim Fighting Arts from the Malay Archipelago and the Ottoman Empire. I will be sharing some videos of Pencak Silat Sharaf in this video channel for those of you interested in a more combative expression of the Silat Arts flavoured with old style Moussarra and Guresh, traditional Middle Eastern wrestling.
I've traveled from North America to Asia to Africa. From gang members to deranged child soldiers on witchcraft induced rampages, I've seen it. So what my personal interpretation of Silat is based on is my combined years of study, life experience, and extensive travel. You won't find anything beautiful here in terms of combat technique unless it is a Juru or something. Otherwise I will confine my selections to real life usage of Silat in less than lethal as well as lethal expressions.
