Great Vid! While I've been a die-hard .357 fan, the recent acquisition of a Delta Elite has changed my tune. Still getting the sighting fine tuned but I am absolutely impressed with overall feel of the pistol and cartridge. Granted, the S&W M-19 is no slouch, but you just can't beat the a 1911.

@lmskills8 Or own one of each!!!! I have a Delta Elite and a S&W Model 19 (6" bbl.) Both very capable cartridges.

@ThePeruano57 Having acquired a professionally preused Delta Elite (long story), I can't see owning any other handgun. This coming from a die hard Trooper MK III fan no less! Still need to lighten up the trigger pull, but I just can't say enough good things about this gun.

Many thanks for posting this video. I lived in Ironwood in the early-mid 90's. Still miss it very much. Hopefully will be able to retire there in @4 years. Ahhhh, the memories.

@hotairbassoon The Mizzus and I were driving back home from seeing our son in college when we heard the news that Dan had left us. I am wiping away the tears as I type this. No, I don't know if we will ever stop grieving.

brings back alot of memories that were very real, not from some video game. sitting around the house, waiting for the draft notice, being swept up by the inevitability of it all. Yet somehow we not only survived, but we prevailed!!!! Welcome home brothers and sisters!!!

I was on the 68-69 Drill Team. That was when we had our break out year. Absoloutely pounded the competition into the ground. My time at NMMI was time well spent (even if my academics were just so-so). I did a 3 year stint in the regular army and made E-5 (Buck Sergeant) without even breaking ...

@wbeeck My dad was a 104 IP in the 60's. He flew everything from the F-80 to the F-4 and he maintains the '104 THE ultimate fighter.

Rode the Silverton way back in the mid 70's. Or was it the 60's? The old brain cell just can't keep up. Anyway, when that whistle blew you should've seen the collection of goose bumps from everyone on the train!!!

Folks, ya ain't lived until you play this back on some vintage stereo equipment. My ultimate set up is a Sansui QRX6500 4 channel receiver with Wharfdale E70 Speakers on the front channels and Wharfdale E50's on the rear channels. Absolutely incredible.

@tyme4mike My sentiments exactly. Ya ain't lived 'til you've heard APP through a Sansui QRX 6500 4 channel receiver coupled up to 2 Wharfedale E-70 & 2 Wharfedale E-50 speakers. Somehow good sound reproduction and good music have become a lost art.

We were so young then. As I type this, I think of Dick Winters-he made the last big jump and all my friends from the Southeast Asian War Games.
