Channel Comments

Just happened stumble on your HJFR Live!, Can't believe that this exist.
I spent 5 years in LA 85 - 90 living in the valley working in Hollywood Post production.
Just love the old slick FM Pop tunes as well as everything else actually. However this type of material just doesn't comer around that often. (Meaning the son and the live set) Big music consumer and collector too. Nowadays mostly audiophile Jazz records played on my High End stereo equipment. doing Audiophile Shows occationally, Working for Ericson in Sweden. Trying to get a grip here, you grew up in the valley, went into the services stationed in Japan? then back to the States? Correct? Will play that live fallin' son many times from now on!

I just saw your video of the Grove piece you wrote and dug it. I'm taking skype lessons now with a guy that went to Grove (I've been playing for close to 27 yrs..funny how much you don't know after all that time!) Lotsa material for sure...just wondering what your experience at Grove was like. Was it a real eye opener as far as applied music theory.
