Tricking Tutorials and Samplers
About Me:
My name is Aidan and as you probably already know, I'm a free runner and tricker. Before I ramble on about the history of this channel I need to clarify just one thing, and that is my ethnicity! I have been told I am Asian so many times during my time on You Tube it's not even funny! I am not an Asian, infact I am half Italian and half Australian but I have lived in Australia for most of my life as I know it so that would explain my accent =) Anyways...
I started this channel back in 2008 just as a bit of a joke (My videos were horrible)... I never thought I would take Freerunning or Parkour 'seriously' but as time went by I learned lots of awesome new moves and sat through lots of videos which inspired me to want to constantly improve. Eventually I reached a point were it became a part of my life and I actually found myself not being able to go through a day without doing something related to Freerunning... Crazy eh? I obviously still have a long way to go but I don't plan on giving up soon! =D YouTube has helped me in so many ways!, I've been motivated to learn editing and filming skills to customise my channel and make my videos look fancy, it has motivated me to learn new tricks and it has also taught me lots of marketing skills which were mainly developed throughout the creation and marketing of my website and channel.
Towards the end of 2010 I decided to name my channel/Freerunning group 'Kinetic Free run' (check the website if you want to join) which basically started off as a subscriber service but has now turned into a place were you can post free running videos to get more views and interact with other free runners around the world. I'm thinking about making some major changes soon but I really can't be bothered haha =P
In the middle of 2011 (2 days ago) I got my You Tube partnership which I was stoked about. For those of you who don't know what a partnership is, it's basically just means I get lots of awesome benefits on YouTube like that banner on the top of my page and the custom link to my channel on videos of mine. If your planning on trying to become a partner, message me and ill tell you how you should 'prepare' yourself before you apply. P.S You also get money for making videos =D
