About Nathan Carls & The...
Singing swing jazz with a combo in central Illinois, playing tunes originally made famous by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Tommy Dorsey, and so many more. The trio (or quartet or quintet) brings combined decades of experience having played regionally and internationally. In this configuration now, Nathan focuses on 30's and 40's standards, helping to bring back the smooth and oh-so-fun vocal stylings of that wonderful era. The repertoire is ever-expanding, adding a more modern twist here and there, as well.
