Unquiet Projects

Unquiet Projects puts human faces on the abstraction of nuclear warfare, aiming to inspire you to work against these deadly weapons. Most of the short films depicted on this site originated in a feature called ORIGINAL CHILD BOMB, a mass-media meditation on the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In it, ordinary people gaze upon the nuclear past and its terrifying present. The political rhetoric surrounding "security" and "weapons of mass destruction" is exposed.

B IS FOR BOMB won a special prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006. Though the film is three years old, its message is all too current. In the nuclear arms race, the players have changed over the years, but the game is the same.
