Hello folks! My name is Mike Mertes and I'm a video game enthusiast in all aspects! I've been playing video games since I was two years okd and I obviously still enjoy it, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this now!

I've collected and played games for years, but about 5 years ago I decided it was time to put all those old games I had stored away back on the shelves in my game room where they rightfully belong. At the this time I have over 1850 physical games for a variety of game systems and a decent amount of digital titles for the more modern systems that I haven't done a inventory on yet. Many people ask me what I would think of the game industry if it all went digital and the honest answer is that I don't know, it certainly seems to be the way things are going and while the game is what matters most; I'll miss holding a physical copy in my hand.

So is my one and only hobby gaming? Not by a long shot! Though I can hardly consider it a hobby anymore, I'm very involved with music. In my twelve year career, I've been a DJ, Musician, Producer, Remixer, Engineer...the list goes on and on! I've been signed to two music labels, released six albums, had some success and had some failure. All in good fun though! These days I mostly work on music for media usage as well as for commercial release and I've also been dabbing in the independent game scene with my music.

The list goes on and on with my hobbies, but one day I'd like to take my knowledge of the Video Game Industry and apply it in the actual field.

Finally, people always ask me why my videos are called Gamer Logic, yet my user name is Unleaded Logic. The fact is that when I started this channel it was originally just going to be a place for people to check out my music videos for my music alias "Unleaded Logic" and then I was suddenly working for gaming blogs and gaming podcasts. I wanted a place where I could do video with some of my gaming stuff and since I already had the YouTube account, I thought it made sense to post them here. Eventually work went dry with the gaming sites and to start an identity of my own, Gamer Logic was born.
