Any man who is not brought to tears by this film is callous to the core. It is shocking, powerful but ultimately inspirational. I cannot praise it enough.

There is much to commend this version of 'The Browning Version' but surely Crocker-Harris would not have said 'different to'. Such a solecism spoils this scene for me.
