I was born 7th Jan in an Orthodox Christian environment. I have recollections of being alive as early as being fed a bottle as a baby by my loving mother. At age approx. 3, my family were sleeping outside after an extremely hot day in Australia. I was woken by a male voice that spoke to me from what seemed like the heavans, I saw nothing and the male voice spoke to me in English, in words that I should not have been able to comprehend, although comprehend I did. I was given an instruction and was told not to forget what my instruction was. The experience confused me as I could not understand at that age how I could possibly carry this instruction out. As I went through life and the education system etc, I tried to block the memory and if I did try to tell anyone about it they would not believe me so I pretty much kept it to myself. I did find that throughout life I had the extraordinary ability to put people in their place and was frightened of no-one as long as the Holy Spirit was with me. When I denied God, everything went wrong in my life, I lost power, I lost incentive and I was basically just lost. Jesus came to see me a few years ago when I went off track and he came in the form of a solo cloud in the sky. It was an incredible experience and I truly thought I was seeing things. It was an early morning, I turned away and looked again and it was still there staring at me, I turned away again and looked back to find it was still there. Well, the shock made me feel uneasy and again I turned away and looked again. Still there staring at me. The fourth time I did this, he scowled at me and when I turned away and looked the 5th time the wind picked up the cloud and blew it away. That scowl scared the heck out of me and it drew me to paint the image that I saw. I had never painted in my life and it is my background image in my profile.
I have had many other experiences and find that now that I no longer deny the existence of God, I am totally at peace and work towards what I denied for all those years with courage and conviction.

I am honored to accept your kind offer of friendship. The story you tell in your profile is a similar experience to what many have had. Most are more concerned with what "they" might think, then they are with sharing their experience. Often, I have thought it a good thing we learn to walk before we are old enough to be ashamed of falling. Otherwise, a great many people would be crawling around self conscious of what "they' might think. What "they" think is very hard to overcome because we impose what "they" think upon ourselves. Never really knowing who it is "they" are. What "they" think matters little in the Grand Scheme of things, because what you think matters and for those who would think less of you then what God does, their opinion doesn't matter anyway. Friends tell us what we need to hear, not necessarily what we want to hear. You are fortunate indeed, to have God as a friend and Heavenly Father. May God Bless you and yours.
