About this user
Skip Shadow, frontman for Sunlight's Shadows, first began writing poetry, which would later become lyrics and eventually full blown songs during his early preteen years, in order to cope with his past. Beginning with stereotypical, but justified angst, he began to grow and flourish, first emulating styles of music that he was familiar with, then beginning to gradually develop his own sound. His first full on song, Same Old Shit, was written when he was 16, and was played by his first band, Seemless. Unfortunately, Seemless had no seams to hold it together, so it eventually fell apart, leaving Skip jaded to the idea of bands. He decided to do everything himself, and, nearly four years later, formed Sunlight's Shadows, a name which signifies the fact that even the brightest things in existence have a dark side.
