Gli Undertrain sono un gruppo rock, nato nella zona di Roma nell'ottobre del 2002. Cominciano ad esibirsi in pubblico nel giugno 2003, divenendo una realtà importante nella loro zona ed espandendo con il tempo il loro raggio d'azione.
Nel settembre 2004 la band è costretta ad arrestare la propria attività per problemi interni. Dei membri fondatori restano William Bono ed Alessandro Di Vincenzo. E' l'inizio di una lunga pausa, durante la quale i due maturano l'idea di un cambio di direzione, orientandosi verso uno stile più rock, dove poter dare sfogo alla loro energia senza però abbandonare il forte spirito melodico della band. Durante questo periodo fa il suo ingresso nel gruppo Fabio Di Giovanni.
Finalmente, nel febbraio 2006, gli Undertrain riprendono la loro attività live.
Nell'aprile dello stesso anno vengono ultimate le registrazioni di quattro brani del loro vasto repertorio (Juliet's Diary, When You, Comet e Painful Temptation).
Proprio con queste prime registrazioni, raccolte nell'EP Burn With Me, gli Undertrain ottengono per la prima volta le attenzioni di magazine e radio locali e nazionali (tra cui Chitarre e Radio1 Rai).
Nel novembre 2006, gli Undertrain tornano in studio e a gennaio viene completata la lavorazione del loro secondo demo, contenente cinque delle loro stupende canzoni (Unreachable, Juliet's Diary, per l'occasione completamente ri-registrata, Angels Are Here, Save Me e I Am Falling).
Nello stesso mese del 2007 entra a far parte del gruppo Francesco Fiore.
E' l'aprile del 2008 il mese in cui la band firma un contratto con l'etichetta La Fuente Records di Milano per la distribuzione dell'EP Unreachable.
A maggio comincia la collaborazione con il gruppo da parte di Maurizio Lenzi, che durerà per circa un anno.
A giugno, per motivi personali, Fabio Di Giovanni è costretto a lasciare gli Undertrain. Al suo posto, fa il suo ingresso nel gruppo Claudio Cassarà.
Nel dicembre del 2009 la band torna in studio per le registrazioni di un nuovo EP intitolato At The End Of Eternity e contenente i brani: I'm Going Insane, You Will Reach The Sun, Madame Bovary, Juliet's Diary e Faster.
Ad agosto del 2011 la band diventa un trio, con l'uscita dal gruppo di Claudio Cassarà ed il passaggio di Alessandro di Vincenzo al basso.

The Undertrain are a rock band, born near Rome in october 2002. They begin gigging in June 2003, becoming an important local reality and extending their range of action day after day.
In September 2004 the band is compelled to stop its activity because of internal problems. Among the founders members, only William Bono and Alessandro Di Vincenzo remain in the band. It's the beginning of a long pause. During it, group's members think about a change of direction, seeing their way clear to a rocker style, where they could give an outlet to their energy without renouncing to the melodic spirit of the original band. During this period Fabio Di Giovanni joins the band.
Finally, in february 2006, Undertrain start again with their live shows.
In april 2006 the recording of four songs of their big repertory (Juliet's Diary, When You, Comet, Painful Temptation) is finished.
With the EP named Burn With Me, that get together these songs, the Undertrain receive for the first time the attention of local and national radios and magazines (among which Chitarre and Radio1 Rai).
In november 2006, Undertrain go back into recording studio and, in january, they complete their second EP, containing five of their great songs (Unreachable, Juliet's Diary, completely re-recorded, Angels Are Here, Save Me and I Am Falling).
In november 2007 Francesco Fiore joins the band.
In april 2008 Undertrain sign with the indie label La Fuente Records, for the distribution of the EP Unreachable.
In may Maurizio Lenzi starts his collaboration with the band that lasts for about an year.
In june, because of personal problems, Fabio Di Giovanni leaves the Undertrain. Claudio Cassarà takes his place and joins the band.
In december 2009, Undertrain starts the recordings of their new EP intitled At The End Of Eternity, containing the songs: I'm Going Insane, You Will Reach The Sun, Madame Bovary, Juliet's Diary and Faster.
In august 2011 the band become a trio, when Claudio Cassarà leaves and Alessandro Di Vincenzo become the bass player.
