Being part of the Brazilian heavy metal scene for only two years, the group has increasingly stood up due to its original songs and varied influences. In 2009 UnderPain achieved a great mark by signing a contract with the British label Death Toll Records, releasing their first official single: Chosen Paths.
The band..s deep lyrics reflect criticism and how social behavior affects the human individuality. The musicians gave a large step investing a lot on their songs production, searching for a very professional result that was achieved showing high quality music.
The label was in charge to distribute the album all over Europe, however, UnderPain decided to let it available for free downloading in their official webpage, aiming the audience..s approval. "We see this band as a Brazilian metal big promises since their music is professional and high quality.", says Graham Hilling, at that time director of Death Toll Records. In the second semester of 2010 the band releases a new single - Back of the Darkness, with limited edition to promotion but available for free downloading on the web.
After these releases, the band got excellent acceptance by the audience and now they are ready to debut their first full length, Endless Circle, which will surely please all those who admire real heavy metal, with virtuous guitars and a rich vocal range mixing melody with anger. The album..s completion is in the hands of the Brazilian producer Caio Duarte (Broadband Productions), who signs the production of great bands such as Dynahead, Device and Downfire.
Partnerships
From the beginning of 2009 to the first semester of 2010, UnderPain got partnership
with a new label -- Black Sun Management and other big companies such as Strazza Cases, DC Shoes, Sound Maker Amplifier, Biemex Tattoo, Estúdio China, Palhetas.net among others in process of negotiation.
International Scene
The international market is already a reality in Underpain..s world since the band has material released outside Brazil. The first edition of the album Endless Circle will count on 10 000 copies, pressed in London, Luxury edition digipack. In Brazil, the label Free Mind Records will be responsible for distribution. In Europe and Asia, it will be distributed by Black Sun.
With its feet in Brazil and eyes on the international scene, UnderPain has recently
booked their first tour abroad. In November, the band lands on Japanese soil to perform
in key cities.
