David Hoyle paints a perfect portrait of torment and self dissatisfaction and in doing so brings an otherwise great vocal performance (and in my improvement great interpretation of and improvement on the original) to a whole new emotional and aesthetic level.

@milesperhower It could happen, but it would, probably (haha), require so many rolls of the dice, that you, your children, your grand children and perhaps a few more generations had wasted your entire lives, or given up, chasing an astonishing pattern created by randomness.

In all fairness it was a pretty straight forward thing. Many people would have handled that heckle in more or less the same way. For something a bit more off beat, watch Bill Hicks lose it completely with a drunk woman on a gig.

Gotta hand it to Gillan for keeping the show going on despite a cold. It's almost painful to hear as he struggles to compose his voice despite the adversities.
