I enjoy performing and consider acting a gift because laughter heals and so can drama, if it connects with an emotional core and ends up with a resolve. Too much of Hollywood is tied up in blood and guts but there is a new trend toward transformative cinema. I want to be part of that.

My experience with youtube has certainly been interesting. I started out posting auditions for casting directors that were in different parts of the country and then started added some original scenes from movie scripts I am writing.

I didn't expect that all feedback was positive but did hope that some would be constructive. None was. In fact, none of the comments I got on the scenes seem to address the movie idea or my acting at all.

Instead, the posters commented on my age or used a string of profanity to attack me personally, as if I were not an actor playing a murderer, for example, but actually someone confessing to a murder.

It was really odd and I got tired of deleting profane and often just nonsense postings and so, I set my comments settings to approve all comments.
