The group was created by Doug Oliphant back in September of 2007 as a way to do performance-based improv in the theatre department at Central Connecticut State University.

Their biggest thing is something called "invisible theatre," where they act a certain way or do certain things to get a reaction from other people. Different from acts done on shows similar to Jackass, invisible theatre has a purpose behind it.

Other areas of focus for the group include short-form and long-form improv, sketch comedy, digital shorts, and dramatic improv.
