@mitchr1224 Actually, as of the book Halo: Glasslands, all of the people trapped inside the Onyx Dyson Sphere, including Halsey and Mendez, manage to escape after they basically convince the Huragok (AKA Engineers) running the facility to let them go.

I think it's kind of interesting to note that the version of this song that was arranged for the 2009 Zelda DS game "Spirit Tracks" also has a Latin percussion backdrop. Great minds do think alike, as they say.
