This is a snippet of the early version of the song Thriller which was originally named as "Starlight". Demo recorded in 1981 and written by Rod Temperton.

First heard by Michael when writer Rod Temperton brought a demo,
with all the sounds programmed, to his Encino home for him to listen
to. Greg Phillinganes, Michaels keyboardist at the time, has confirmed he, Michael, Quincy Jones and Rod Temperton were in the studio, playing the song back, when Michael and Quincy started throwing ideas at each other such as, changing certain chords to make the song sound darker, and adding the wolf howl. A day or so later, the song became Thriller.

Included on the second acetate version of the expanded, special edition of THRILLER, but later withdrawn.
