@Patsyorange Looking at some of your other posts, you are a Finn-hating troll. Visiting videos by artists you don't like, and then posting a bunch of negative comments, is not a very healthy use of time.

I consider this recording to be a strong contender for the best orchestral recording ever made. And this section (including the preceding 3 minutes or so) is incredibly powerful, the greatest symphony climax I know of, played and conducted just perfectly for my tastes.

@danielhoganmusic Actually, there are not supposed to be cymbals, just a tam tam blow. They do play the tam tam here but it's subdued, more as a cushion for the hammer, rather than letting it stand out.

also, this is very well done, which is the other reason this is great. Things are not done arbitrarily - the uploader made many good (correct) creative decisions here. It does indeed show talent beyond simply lining up frames to sync with the music, contrary to what the troll in the other version...
