Human kind, cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value, something must be lost. That is the first law of equivilent exchange. In those days we really believed that to be the worlds one and only truth. But the world isnt perfect, and the law is incomplete. Equivilent exchange doesnt encompass everything that goes on here, but I still choose to believe even its principal, that all things do come at a price. That theres an end and a flur, a cycal, that the pain we went through did have a reward, and that anyone who's determained and perservirence will get something of value in return, even if its not what they expected. I dont think of equivelent exchange is the law of the world anymore. I think of it as a promise, between my bother and me. A promise that someday we'll see eachother again.
