Years ago, i was being stupid, and broke my wrist. that hurt my guitar career.not that there really was one, but it hurts to play now!... lol So one day about a year ago, i bought a ukulele for my dad for father's day. I wondered how easy it was to play. So with the help of Jody Kamisato, and his video "Learn to play the ukulele" .....all i could say was "this is easy" i can do much of the same stuff a guitar can do....and it doesn't hurt my wrist!
There is no easier string instrument to play, with such a short length between chords shifts.
One can actually start playing the ukulele in under 10 minuets, with 3 chords under their belt.
Now about me?....I like Oscar Schmidt ukes.... (hey, they all come with a 100% lifetime guarantee and that is good for someone who cant afford a Kamaka) I have a OU4 tenor (spruce top), and a Lyon concert ( koa veneer ) with aquila low G...and hey... it has out sounded $500 ukes and i only payed $60 for it!
Am i a pro? no way!, but i do love it and that is what this channel is for...
