Autism Awareness Campaign UK Channel

The Autism Awareness Campaign UK was founded in 2000 by parents and carers Ivan and Charika Corea, their son Charin has ASD. The Autism Awareness Campaign UK is lobbying for better public services in education, health, specialist speech therapy and respite care for all people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome. The Autism Awareness Campaign UK is calling for a national strategy on autism and a 10 year plan of action on autism and Asperger's Syndrome. There are over 500,000 people with autism and over 90,000 children with autism in the UK. According to UK Researchers 1 in 100 children in the UK may have autism. In 2008 the autism campaigners launched the UK Autism Foundation, a new autism charity for a new generation.
