I (Japanese) usually raise a hand for saying "Thank you" when I'm driving, and actually at driving schools we learn that way, to raise a hand, is for saying thanks. But on te roads, many drivers do the same way like this video.

「人間良い事をしても中々良いイメージは残りませんが、悪い事１つでもしたら長く悪いイメージが残る生き物なのです」と仰られている事は自分も同意します。ただ、同時に「他にある良い部分を見ようとする」事もあまりないですよね？
悪いイメージを持たれるのは残念ですが、違う見方もしてもらえればお気づきでない良い部分も知れるのではないかなと思いますし、大阪人としても悪い所だけにとらわれないで頂きたい。そして、大阪弁を「汚い」と言うのはやめていただきたい、というのが自分の言いたい事でした。
ちなみにkimukimu008さんは標準語話者さんですか？
大学の時にも「大阪弁て汚いよな...
