I love both retro games AND modern games.
Likes: good video games, the 16-bit era, touhou, good music, mecha, shmups, tf2, art that doesn't look like shit, rpgs, animation, new technology (as long as it doesn't try to go all HAL 9000 and kill everyone).
Dislikes: assholes, retarded franchise & console fanboys, idiots who can't take off their rose colored glasses, poor grammar on the internet, sonic recolors.
