The biggest insight a human can gain today, according to me, is to recognize -- and acknowledge to him/herself and others -- that we need to change our way of thinking, before it is forced upon us.

Our entire society is based on our economy. The problem with the economy is, that it's just a pyramid scheme. But that's not the real problem. Our entire destructive civilization is a pyramid scheme! Money has always controlled us, not the other way around. We are the sum of our history, a barbaric civilization that only loves wealth. More people and more resources mean more wealth, especially for those already wealthy. That's why our "civilized" society has always strives towards endless growth, at the cost of anything and everything in its way.

About 6000 years ago, in an era with a slower technological advancement than today, the only way to get more wealthy was to murder others and take their land and resources from them (and it's obviously still rather popular). When we had murdered eachother for a while, a pyramid structure based on wealth and power had formed. People were centralized. Nations were formed, often against the will of the people, whom had to be "physically persuaded", but it was just business as usual.

The people were then persuaded to pay taxes for security, when in reality they paid taxes to the State and church be oppressed, forced and manipulated to risk their lives in the act of organized pillaging and mass murder, so that the rich could get richer.

The wealthy have always had the power and never actually cared much about nation borders, because they were the one who made them up. In history, it was the nobility and the priesthood, with a common culture and language, separated from the commoners. Then it was the bourgeoisie, who then also learnt the power of organizing themselves. Then, it was the bankers. Today, it's the mega corporations and the banks, who are owned by the wealthiest of the wealthy. All State leaders have always known that without their support, they will fall.

Always we have been taught by our society, that in continous and ambitious conflict with eachother, compete for as good position in the pyramid structure as possible, hunting for wealth. Divide and rule. The only ones who have understood to actually organize and cooperate with eachother, is the wealthy elite at the absolute top, who have understood that they can get all they want and then some, if they only stop competing with eachother. Bilderberg, Rotschild, Trilateral Commission, Council of Foreign Relations, they are all clubs for the elite, people with one interest only: infinite wealth and power. But of course, if you get literal handbooks in oppression, for example "The Prince" by Machiavelli, or a manual for mass manipulation by Freud, it's not that hard. You also get tested and verified plans for scheming and plotting, just by reading some history.

But the economical elite are just as oppressed in their thought as the rest of us. Their unhealthy -- or lack of -- values, become their own destructive culture and consciousness. Nobody can back out or even change the path of common direction, because they demonize dissonant thoughts just as much as our own culture does.

The only way to halt our own destruction of ourselves and all life around us, is to realize that our ancient, outdated civilization is built upon fundamentally destructive and corrupted grounds, and has done so from the very beginning. The only way to create a durable society, that will focus on life harmony, making life a gift instead of a torment, is to realize we have to start over with a blank piece of paper. The creation of a civilization without the destructive love for wealth and having the authority over others.

Our civilization is such a destructive mess, that it is rather clear by now for everyone of us, that it is only a matter of WHEN and HOW everything will go to hell, not IF.
