By saying it was a tribute to the troops Spielberg negated any criticism towards his film. After the beach landing violence it was all filler with violins metaphorically masturbating in the background. Spielberg has his own camps and trains with the American movie goer being the captive.

I was in Ibiza when I believe it was Northern England that took over the Jet apartments. Now that's an interesting tribe. They live in a world unto themselves and the way they danced and clowned was unlike anything I've ever seen. They're definitely more lively than other cultures in Europe.
