That's a clean hit, no doubt. Of course you get hurt if you go along the bords in that stance, it's hockey not soccer. Only reason he got a penalty is that Martinek got hurt, if Martinek didn't get hurt there would have been no penalty.

@hankthetanksdad Don't know much about hockey, do you? It's more dangerous to fight with your shield on, it breaks easily and cuts you bad if it does. That's why you see a lot of players with shields taking off their helmet when fighting, while you never see guys without shields taking their helm...
