TYLER WEAVER is a filmmaker & writer with a particular interest in how digital filmmaking and internet distribution can transform the competition for eyes and ears. With an aesthetic that is a mix of classical and modern blended through his own unique sensibilities, Tyler has crafted a multitude of videos and films for a wide range of clients and audiences.
In 2007, he released IL MIO CANTO LIBERO, a music video for composer Francesca DiGiovanna and in April, 2009, released his first feature-length film, the music documentary, GATHER ROUND THE MIC, filmed in Cleveland and featuring an international cast of musicians.
Working with the Mary Ferrell Foundation and the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Group, his credits include THE FOURTEEN MINUTE GAP, WITHHELD IN FULL and UNREDACTED - THE VIDEO INTERVIEWS for the Foundation, and the web series HOT SHOTS @ HOT SPOTS with the 20/30 Group.
For these projects, Tyler took on on numerous roles, including writer, director, producer, editor, composer, cinematographer, and voice over artist, and he conducted more than 70 hours of interviews with noted authors, business owners, and young professionals.
In addition to developing a number of new projects, Tyler is an active writer and critic, regularly contributing articles & reviews to Anthony Schiavino's PULPTONE.COM as well as television producer Maria Lokken's website. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of MULTI-HYPHENATE, an online magazine featuring writings and contributions from the new wave of filmmakers, photographers, comic book creators, musicians, and writers navigating the waters of the new media landscape.
