About Me:
But we're not just getting bigger. Texas State is leading the way in research in fields from nanotechnology to chemistry, and we're doing groundbreaking work on managing Texas' most-precious resource, water. We have one of the largest geography programs in the nation. We're preparing hundreds of new teachers in dozens of fields every year.
With 97 bachelor's, 87 master's and 12 doctoral degree programs, Texas State offers a wide range of studies to a diverse population. More than 37 percent of our students are ethnic minorities, and we rank 14th in the nation for the number of degrees we grant to Hispanic students.
