Timmy Dixon was born with a gift. From the age of three his musical abilities and captivating personality has captured the hearts of everyone within earshot. His ability to learn how to play instruments by ear, work an audience of any age, and unique and powerful vocal range, has made it very evident that he was born to be an incredible musician and performer.

His talent in singing and songwriting was quickly noticed by Karen Kite, a vocal instructor in Abilene, TX, and was immediately advised by her to consider a career in the music industry and begin recording. After recording his first few songs and posting them on MySpace, he received immediate positive feedback and continued to write and record more songs throughout high school. When he was 16, he met producer and keyboardist, Gordon Cotten, who spent many hours helping Timmy develop his singing and songwriting abilities. As Timmy was waiting for the right time in his life to pursue music full time, he decided to move to Fort Worth, Texas to attend school for business at Texas Christian University.

During his first year in college Timmy became the front man of a rock band named Gravity. They wrote and released a full album on iTunes and played concerts all over Dallas Ft. Worth area, including opening up for acts such as Fuel and Civil Twilight. The following year he made the decision to transfer to the University of Texas in Arlington where we continued to form critical relationships that would help guide him in his pursuit of music and songwriting. Timmy's distinct voice ended up attracting hip-hop artists in the DFW area, who wanted him to be featured on their tracks. He worked with rapper, Yung Chase, who had recently released a single with Slim Thug and Paul Wall, and their sound was electric. Timmy's strong, raspy voice mixed with a hip-hop influence was quite a hit in the metroplex.

At the end of 2010, however, Timmy officially decided to part ways from the rock band scene and pursue a career of music and songwriting on his own. This time he went with a new sound that is proving to create a better opportunity for Timmy to further his career in the music industry. Teaming up with talented producer Loren Moore (AKA "Nerol") and rapper Dickie Capone, he recorded his first two singles "Be My Girl" and "The Sky Is Below Me". These songs quickly captured his audience and created buzz around DFW, including college campuses. Timmy quickly teamed up with personal friend, Ryan Hicks, who is helping Timmy get in the door at more venues in their area.

It has been less than a year since Timmy has begun his project, and he has already recorded and released 5 new singles on iTunes, developed a solid new fan base, and performed at numerous venues including performing for sororities at popular college campuses such as TCU, SMU, and UT Arlington. He also continues to create a sound that fans are identifying with that includes a combination of pop, hip-hop, and electro, and fusing them together in his own unique way. Timmy desires to become the best singer/songwriter he can be. He is teachable and hopes to reach his full potential by maintaining a successful career in what he loves the most: music.
