There was a time when my body was ravaged by a constant winter chill, and the dark blurred the lines between reality and my own insanity. Then I reached out, grabbed hold of the light, and it warmed me from the inside out and suddenly I was alive again.

It was as though I had woken up from a long dream, or had returned from a trip to find my whole world had changed. But I have that light now, and I'll never let go. Never.
