We Can Find a Way to Transformation; At This Point, We Must

Many years of working with young, elderly, disabled, and immigrant people have led me to believe change through existing systems is improbable. So for several years I've been studying transformation of consciousness fulltime. That's one reason for this channel: to share experiences and what I've been learning.
Another reason: I've seen many terrific LGTQ people be killed or hatefully abused, often by 'Bible believers'. Bibles are translations- often poor and with agendas. I'd like to share some truth: the underlying texts are astonishingly LGBTQ-affirming. LGBTQ Bible heroes include Abraham, Sarah, Tamar, Joseph, David, Jonathan, Ruth, Naomi, Daniel, and some NT biggies.
Why bother with the Bible at all? Not only are its basic texts affirming, they contain many clues to effecting transformation spiritually. Isaiah calls Queer people 'God's Beloved' and says they will bring cosmic transformation. Maybe you'll find a role for you in cosmic transformation. Maybe the most intact ancient texts we have- gifts from our ancestors- can guide us on our new paths.

A bit about me: I'm trained as a biologist (natural plant growth and yield regulation). Also studied Bible and Christian and Jewish history formally. I've been learning both metaphysical traditions, and how to survive on few $, for years as I work to set up a home where Isaiah's Divinely Beloved can safely be themselves and pursue their practical and spiritual work. I've also inherited some Celtic, Cherokee, and Powhatan traditions, perhaps explaining why many of my friends are animals, angels, or green. ;)
