I had heart surgery when I was 8 months old. I also have idiopathic scoliosis and had surgery on June 28th, 2010. The surgery took place at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. :) I had my second spine surgery on August 11, 2011 and my surgeon removed 3 screws and one crossbar because of pain. I am finally pain free :)
