Take the stats for views on gay marriage, likely most for it are of the younger newer generations. This does not mean that as they get older they will reverse their stance on gay marriage. There's societies trend, and the trend for an individuals development.
Another example going the otherway: Society can trend to be getting healthier, while as you get older to you will trend to have more health problems. In short more data, or rather a different kind of study is need for different kinds of conclusions.
In the U.S., 55 percent of atheists are under age 35, while 30 percent are 50 and over. You're a "weak" atheist thought right?
I don't think anyone knows what they are. It's never what we ascribe to ourselves is it? My son Jason will be 22 this Monday, Halloween. He's got my number, see? The bigger the cross the more depraved the individual. :)
That lots of people believe something, or come to believe it with age, is not an argument for the belief.
