I am probably one of the few (along with you) who actually likes the colour episodes. While the black and white was good in that it helped make the guys appear more gritty, the colour just adds another dimension. The depth of blue in Saunders eyes, and the brown of Kirbys eyes ..
And its nice to be able to tell whether the marks on their faces was blood, mud, or boot polish
& to see the colour of the lakes, and of course the colours of the countryside they fought in.
But mostly because it just allowed far more detail to to be seen. And that for me, was a big plus.
It's certainly got ME watching the show LOL
