I'm... me. I've got a rather strange taste in music as you can see. I just tend to take a liking to things that are generally perhaps not the most "popular". Or if popular, outdated and from a different era.
Music may grow old to a single person, it may fade from the spotlight and dissapear off the radar of the modern human being, yet good music it can remain, waiting to be discovered by someone looking for something new. Something they have not heard before, in the ever-yearning quest for more audial pleasure.
Also what can seem old and tired to some, can seem new and exciting to one who has just discovered it, I think we owe it to ourselves not only to delve in the new, but to look back also, to see what we might have missed.
Of course it's impossible to like everything, and different people like different music, but there are gems amongst almost every genre of music. The deceased British radio DJ John Peel showed me that fact.. may he rest in peace.
