What got me into this song at first was that it seems like they're saying "needles and pinza!"

I thought they got it from an Italian dish called "noodles and pinza!"

This is just a song I remember from an old vinyl album my aunt had. It was a mix of British and American hits. I was just testing my long term memory. Even though it brings back memories, I don't think Black is a very good singer.

Like stepenwolf7, this cut reminds me of my first love. She had left me for the drummer of a rock band. This song triggered a wishful daydream, and it is very dreamy music. I think this may have been what Marty Balin was thinking of too, when he wrote this song.
