Well, where to start, where to start...

My name's Dan, I'm 15 years old, I'm from Surrey, in the United kingdom.

I am a fairly creative person (I seem to have traded talent in other subjects for this) and enjoy music, art, and film, of course.

I first began animating at the age of 6 years, when my dad bought a webcam, which had some logitech software with which you could make animations. My first, where 5 second long feeble attempts. My feeble animations, destined for view by only the members of my family that I could get to watch them, ended at about the age of 10, when I discovered how to edit, and refine my movies beyond just simple animation, it was also around this age when I purchased my first plasticine, and so made my first claymation.

At the age of 11 years, I discovered youtube, and made my first youtube videos. (Bob the Blob, the creation) and some more. As my popularity grew, I became more 'into it' and started making more and more proffesional animtions. They grew in length, and frame rate. I also began experimenting with different software and cameras, and so improved the quality of my animation. My popularity reached a peak, before last year the summer holidays ended and I didn't have time to animate anymore, and was inactive for months, I lost popularity, (which was mostly from bionicle fans) and was surely enough forgotten.

Then, I returned, but this time, I decided that I should stop making Bionicle animation and ditched it for claymation. I did this at the expense of lots of popularity, as my fanbase was mostly bionicle fans, and claymation was a much more difficult genre to be well known for, but I decided that it was a better way to go, so I stuck with it.

Nowadays, I make sets for animations aswell (this is rare among amatures on youtube, this makes me happy, lol =) ) I use a static grass citidel gaming matt, for the grass (avalible at games workshop stores)and make cliffs from polystyrene or styrofoam, which I then paint.

For my new Blob Kingdom series, I make weapons either from lego, or from scratch, for instance, the blob empire shields are painted playing cards, and the spears are cocktail sticks, tipped with warhammer spearheads. Also, the helmets are hand sculpted from Miliput.

Really guys, good acrylic model paint, is your best friend. It can make anything look amazing. Get to know it.

Little red ninjas eyes are glass beads, with irises painted on, and gohgsten castle is made from wood, and then covered in stoney wallpaper.
