About this user

I currently live in Durham, NC with my husband, three dogs and two cats. I grew up a musician, participating in both symphonic wind ensembles, orchestras and marching band (clarinet and alto sax). All of my pets have musical names in some fashion. I also grew up riding horses and loving animals. I have a degree in Psychology (B.S.) and Audiology (Au.D.). After working in the field of audiology for 10 years, I decided to pursue my love of animals further. I now work in a vet hospital as a vet assistant and I teach dog training classes. With my three dogs I compete in flyball and agility. I hope to one day also compete in Rally-O, musical freestyle, dock diving and maybe even disc dog competitions!
