Hi there,

My name is Steve (aka TTigg) and this is a record of my journey into learning to play the piano. I'm an adult beginner who started playing Piano in June 2008.

I am currently working my way through the Alfred Series for Adult beginners. I've finished books 1&2 and started #3 but am currently taking a break since I want to get some videos and recordings done of some of my favorite Film & TV music. Of course this is going to be an on-going thing, hoping I can get MANY more up in 2011.

I can also be found hanging around the Pianoworld.com forums on the ABF. If your into Piano, already play or learning I highly recommend checking this place out - they're a great bunch and very helpful indeed!

I recently found out my Great Great Grandfather was a published composer of music in the 1800s!!. Well at least I know where I get some of the talent from and I'll be looking forward to playing some of his pieces once I've gotten a little better. I've got some of his sheet music which is so incredibly ornate and intricate it's crazy!

My current focus is New Age / Classical and I am currently working on mainly pieces by Ludovico Einaudi. After hearing his music on a Pianoworld online recital I simply had to begin playing it. I've got several books to get working through which will probably keep me busy for the next 2-4yrs!
