Sorry, i just watched the video again. Maybe the slot in the block needs to be cut deeper. I really like that tool though. But it bevels the fretboard edges too, and I need to feel ever millimeter of width on my fretboard. My fingers would notice immediately
When the code purple screen comes up just hit shift F10. You will be at a command prompt. Change to the folder that has the file checkdmi.cmd. Delete it by typing "del checkdmi.cmd". Windows boot process continues from where the code purple interrupted. While in windows go create a new checkdmi....
