@tryingtobegood1 let me fix my first sentence, i mean the ARABIC "Q" /QAAF is not the same as the ENGLISH Q.

and so the conclusion of the debate was that the Qur'an truly has been preserved word for word as it was during the prophets(peace be upon him) time. it was already explained there are 7 different modes of reciting it.

@putronogo dont take my word for it, i think Imam Shafi'ee was probably related to the Amir of Makkah because he was from Bani Quraish and his mother probably sent him a letter to tell the Amir of Madinah to introduce Shafi'ee(RA) or Imam Malik(RA)
