It was all about money. EMI fired Blaze (not Harris) cause the sales weren't going that well as with Bruce. And Bruce came back because of that. He gets much more money with Maiden rather than his solo career (which is amazing by the way).
So don't fight about who is better it's all about money. ...

The only reason Blaze left the band was because of economical reasons. EMI just wanted Dickinson back cause most of the Iron Maiden fans were stuck (including myself, but then I was 15 and now I am 28) and couldn't realise how much more fresh Blaze's voice is.
