Trunks is the first born of Bulma and Vegeta and the older brother of Bulla the heir to the capsule corporations vast riches Trunks is spoiled as a young child making him strong willed stubborn and totally unlike the Trunks that came to Goku from the future however he is always kind and caring toward Goten his best friend and someone he treated more like his own brother while he loves his father Trunks was saddened by the way Vegeta rarely played with him outside of training the mere metion of the amusement park was enough to delight him. He transformed into a super saiyn while training with his father his transformation allows him acess to even more fighting power than he had before enough that even Vegeta found himself fighting no-hands-barred against him inststinivly his natrual strong will and stubbornness are unchanged and he barley fights against any adversary he faces no matter how strong
In his alternative future Goku and his friends are dead execpt for he and Gohan and the andriods(17 and 18) have laid waste to the world he uses the time machine to return to the past when Goku is still alive. Before doing this Trunks recevived training from Gohan the lone Z-fighter in his world he was looking forward to meeting his father from the past as he was killed while Trunks was very young but was shocked by Vegeta's cold uncaring personality as well as the way he hardly seemed interested that Bulma was in danger. Since he prevented Goku from dying of heart diesase the resulting time parodx has created three potential futures for Trunks to experience. Trunks went super saiyan after finding Gohan dead after a brawl with the andriods the transformatoin has changed his look and given him explosive amounts of power but his serious honest personality remains unchanged the sword on his back was given to him by the brave hero Tapion he broke it by trying to save Vegeta from android 18 and hasn't used it since. After tasting bitter defeat at the hands of androids 17 and 18 Trunks underwent a years worth of training inside of the Hyperoboilc Time Chamber with Vegeta in addition to his hairstyle and a few inches in height Trunks became vastly powerful learning how to achieve his second super saiyan form. He originally found it difficult to deal with Vegeta a source of stress to him after his training and the ensuring discussions he had with his father he gradually came to understand Vegeta as a person. When he heard that Vegeta was enraged that cell killed him Trunks was overjoyed realizing that his father was not the emoitionless fighting machine he had once imagined. Changing into a super saiyan after his training made even more powerful than before after the Cell Games Trunks returned to the future and destroyed the androids and cell restoring peace to his world before restoring peace Trunks achived a second super saiyn form his muscules expand further than Vegeta's giving him far more power than his 1st trasformation his speed takes a major hit however the transformation put much stress upon his body.
