Further, Predicate Calculus or First Order Logic with out Proper Axioms IS consistent already. This has been proven in the text books.
It is the proper axioms found in Arithmetic that messes things up or contributes to our inability to prove its consistency.

I on my part would posit a Divine cause. The reason is that if Platonism is true, then the forms are eternal, so it stands to reason how it got there, how did it exist?
Would that not be a reasonable thing to ask?
