Double whammy!! Saw the other vid a few minutes ago...killer! I do like that sound. How do they sound sitting behind the kit?? Do the toms decay to fast or about right for the shortys?

Gorgeous kit...I'll be buying this same set ASAP! One problem though...Sonor does not offer a short tom past the 12...I would love a 13x7.5 or even a 14x8. No matter...this is an amazing drumset.

Is this also a maple/birch kit? Sounds fantastic for a set in this price range.

To wrap a single brain around that drumset says volumes about Bozzio...though I still like peart better.

The microphones are a mess on this vid...some too loud the small tom to low. This kit sounds great otherwise.

Vinnies solos are like watching grass grow. Neils on the other hand are simply amazing to watch. Innovative and executed with incredible stick control. That is why we love him and his great body of work.

I have the cherry to blk fade sizes 8,10,12,14 and two 16 floor toms with a tama metalworks snare. I love this kit. Heavyer sticks help the shells sound off with 2 ply heads on them. I use NP signature japanese oak with wood tips. Too bad these kits get a bad rap. I love the way it sounds tuned t...

I have a pdp fs kit and it sounds great with heavy sticks. Japanese oak NP signatures are what I like to use. Birch likes to beroughed up a bit. My kit is 8,10,12,14 and two 14x16's. I've been really happy with it. This kit here (tama) would benefit from being hit a little harder.

@huskvarsm I caught a few articles where he mentions his inspiration from a number of different drummers. I found the "small print" to be much more informative than the" caps "posted all over the web.

It's nice to know tha even the greats fling a stick now and again.

Gotta love the way Alex carries this song. Perfect accent to Geddys singing here which is pretty damn spot on if you ask me.

Though Neil is my fav. drummer by a long shot...I must say w/ a bit of reverance that Carl nows his art very well. Probobly an inspiration to Neil in his early days.

Some people try and compare neil to Carl. I see wasted time there. Neil has a much better aproach to his playing and solos. Young peart was still far better than young Palmer. Go and listen to Caress of Steel...the entire album...and then go listen to anything E.L.P. or ASIA put out. Not even close.

Say what you will...Jared is a kick ass drummer who dedicates alot of his time to helping out beginners and pros. He can play some really complex combos with robotic timing and he can groove with the best of 'em.
