It has been my experience that most of these armchair QB's are textbook firefighter's and think that everything is done by the book they do not know what real firefighting is all about. We have some guy's like this at our department and they are not worth a shit out there on the scene.

Most of the time fires that are not done by the textbook are the ones that go smoothlly while the ones that are textbook don't, so while you know it all's are studying your textbook the real firefighter's will putting out the fire.
